Self-made measuring methods: Solutions adapted to user specifications can be realised within a very short time with the control software LabDesk™. By means of the implemented script language, the control of the measuring instruments as well as data evaluation can be adapted to a great variety of demands.
Whether already existing measuring methods are to be adapted to your demands or very new measuring processes are to be programmed: by means of the script language, measuring methods designed to user specifications can be integrated into your already existing installation of LabDesk™ quickly and easily. All basic functions like automatic measuring reports, graphic display of measuring data, export functions, data storage etc. are, of course, also provided.
If we think of an example from materials research: Pull or elongation analysis to be made on fibres. The layout of the K100 Tensiometer – although designed for liquid measurements – also fulfils all requirements to solve such a problem: It consists of a precision force sensor and a vertical positioning unit with highly dynamic properties positioned below the force sensor.
A user defined measurement can be programmed in such a way that an inserted fibre sample is elongated first. During the measuring process, the force and positioning data is instantly recorded and displayed graphically. Measuring parameters, for example the elongation speed, can be defined over a large measuring range before starting the measurement. For more complex evaluations, temperature and time data can also be incorporated.
