Automatic measurements à la carte: the mapping module for DSA3
Recurrent work sequences are time consuming and call for simplification. For multiple routine contact angle measurements the solution for the DSA100 is now available: the mapping module. The handling is very easy. On the screen you will see the before defined “map”, a virtual standard sample with always identical dimensions. The desired drop position of up to 8 different liquids are set by mouse-click and transmitted into the DSA3 software, which is responsible for everything further. Each measurement point will be precisely accessed and calculated. At the end all results are listed in detail and are entered into the measuring report.
The mapping module is part of all DSA3 software packages and is available from September 2005.

The art of small steps
For small samples not only micro drops are necessary, but also tiny steps in movement of the sample for automatic measurements are important. For this purpose, the approved DSA100M is supported by the new micro stage PS3240. Now it is possible to perform fully automatic measurements at several locations on fine structured samples, like wafer or electronic devices. If you set the drop location with the help of the new DSA3 mapping module, experiment preparation is even more comfortable.
The micro stage PS3240 is immediately available.
