A new colleague for technical support

Sebastian Pluchowski has been working in the technical support since January 2006 and supports our customers in Germany. In this edition of the newsletter, he introduces himself:

Dear Sirs,

Being a new staff member at KRÜSS GmbH, I wish to take this opportunity of introducing myself to you. Since January 2006, I have been part of the technical support team. My main activities are the installation and formation as well as maintenance and repair at site for the German area.

After having passed my final exams at secondary school, I started studying environmental engineering with an emphasis on environmental technology at the advanced technical college in Lübeck. Within the scope of my diploma thesis at the Dräger Safety AG & Co. KGaA in Lübeck, I worked on a measuring system for the characterization of solid adsorbent materials.

The subject of my thesis was: Setup of a measuring apparatus for simultaneous measuring of mass changes and enthalpy in sorption procedures and first application on technical adsorbent materials. Thus, interfacial chemistry was not an unknown subject when I started working for KRÜSS three months ago.

All the more, I am glad to be able to offer my knowledge in this field of scientific measuring technology to our clients. As a member of the KRÜSS team, I will present our services to you and assist you in all technical questions. I am looking forward to a good and interesting collaboration and especially, to meeting you personally in the near future.

Yours,

Sebastian Pluchowski
